Trezor Hardware Wallet

Why Choose Trezor for Crypto Security?

In the rapidly evolving world of cryptocurrency, security is paramount.Trezor pioneered the hardware wallet industry, offering a cold storage solution that keeps your private keys offline and away from potential online threats. By visiting Trezor.io/start, you are taking the first step towards true financial sovereignty.

Unlike software wallets (hot wallets) that are constantly connected to the internet, Trezor devices isolate your sensitive data inside the device itself. This means that even if your computer is compromised by malware, your funds remain safe.

Offline Security

Private keys never leave the device, keeping them safe from hackers and malware.

Easy Recovery

Recover your entire wallet on a new device using your 12 to 24-word recovery seed.

Open Source

Transparent code that has been audited by security researchers worldwide.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Follow these instructions to initialize your device via Trezor.io/start

01

Unboxing & Inspection

Before you begin, carefully inspect the packaging. Your Trezor device should arrive with a tamper-evident hologram seal. If this seal is broken, missing, or looks suspicious, do not use the device and contact Trezor support immediately.

02

Connect to Trezor.io/start

Connect your Trezor to your computer using the USB cable provided. Open your web browser and navigate to trezor.io/start. This is the official landing page that will guide you to download the correct software.

03

Install Trezor Suite

Download and install Trezor Suite for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux). Trezor Suite is the interface you will use to manage your portfolio, send transactions, and update your device.

Always verify you are downloading from the official domain to avoid phishing sites.
04

Install Firmware & Create Wallet

Once Trezor Suite is open, it will detect your device and ask to install the latest firmware. After the update, select "Create New Wallet". The device will generate a unique set of private keys for you.

05

The Most Important Step: Backup

Your device will display a sequence of words (your recovery seed). Write these down on the provided recovery cards. Never store this seed digitally (no photos, no cloud storage). If your device is lost or damaged, this physical backup is the only way to restore your funds.

Trezor support will NEVER ask for your recovery seed. Keep it private.
